RESIDENTS are being asked to move their cars as the council works to 'improve parking for residents'.
Eastleigh residents that park in the Ovington Gardens, Kilmeston Close and Beauworth Close are are being asked to move their vehicles today to allow Eastleigh Borough Council to undertake line painting.
The council say this is in response to requests from locals and should only take one day to complete.
While this work is taking place, residents are being allowed to use the pay and display bays for free on nearby roads and park in other residents bays in adjacent zones.
A Council spokesperson said: “Following requests from local residents the Council is undertaking line painting.
"The line marking should be complete in a day and although residents will have to move their vehicle for a short time while the line markings dry they will be able to re-park their vehicles soon after."
