A MAN has been arrested after reports of careless driving in Southampton.
The incident occurred at around 3.15am this morning (26 November) after police were alerted by a CCTV operator to a vehicle driving along Shirley Road with no lights on.
Officers conducted a stop and search of the individual, and the vehicle, seizing a quantity of Class A and Class B drugs alongside a quantity of cash.
A 27-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and driving whilst unfit through drink and / or drug use.
He remains in custody at this time.
