ONE CORONAVIRUS death has been registered at hospitals in Hampshire in the last 24 hours.
Date released by NHS England shows Portsmouth Hospital is the only hospital in Hampshire to report a Covid-19 related death on Saturday November 28.
This takes their total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 208.
Southern Health, Solent, Hampshire Hospital and University Hospital Southampton all recorded no coronavirus related deaths during the last day.
Therefore, the number of deaths at these hospitals stand at three, 21 and 207, 227 respectively.
The total number to die with coronavirus in Hampshire hospitals since the start of the pandemic is 741.
Figures released by NHS England today reveal 40 coronavirus deaths have been registered in hospitals in England, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 40,405.
All patients that passed away were aged 60 and over, with four of these deaths occurring in the south west region.
