A DISQUALIFIED driver who jumped a red light while on a ban has been forced to carry out unpaid work.
Lewis Matthew Butt was caught driving while disqualified on Leigh Road in Eastleigh on July 2.
The 27-year-old, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, jumped a red light at a pedestrian crossing on the road.
He was also found to have no insurance.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to one count of driving while disqualified, one count of driving without insurance, and one count of jumping a red light.
Butt, of Portal Road, Bishopstoke, was disqualified from driving for a further 12 months and was forced to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
