HE may have had two strokes already but that didn't stop this Southampton dad from raising money in a sponsored row-a-thon.
Fighting fit Gareth Webb took up the challenge with his wife Andrea and two of her work colleagues from Lloyds TSB in Hedge End to raise £600 for the Stroke Association.
The group rowed 10km each over two nights at the gym in Bitterne Leisure Centre for the charity's Stroke for Stroke campaign.
The 37-year-old rental manager, of Woodmill Lane, Midanbury, said: "I decided to raise money for the Stroke Association because I have had a couple of strokes myself when I was 35.
"This was a way of saying thank you for all their help.
"It went fine and we took it at a steady pace."
