Assaults, thefts and drink drivers: Some of the cases heard at a Southampton court

SEAN PATRICK CANNEY, 25, of Vokes Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide his details following an accident. Driving record endorsed with five points and fined £300. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

MARC ANDREW PALMER, 39, of Southampton Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to the theft of razor blades and 23 vape products worth £193.37 and admitted breach of suspended sentence. Committed to prison of eight weeks and ordered to pay £25 compensation.

PATRYK PIOTR PIETROWSKI, 25, of Chiltern Green, Millbrook. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Disqualified from driving for 17 months and fined £440. Ordered to pay court costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £44.

ASHLEY JAMES BETTERIDGE, 26, of Underwood Road, Bishopstoke. Pleaded guilty to resisting police constables in execution of their duty. Fined £40. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

MATEUSZ KRAWCZYK, 24, of Denzil Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to theft. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £40 court costs.

LEE JOHN WELLS, 38, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting an emergency worker. Discharged conditionally for 18 months and fined £50 compensation. Ordered to pay court costs of £40.

PATRICK MUNYARADZI BVUNZAWABAYA, 36, of Broadlands Road, Portswood. Pleaded guilty to one count of damaging a TV and one count of damaging a door belonging to Hyde Group. Discharged conditionally for 18 months and ordered to pay £200 compensation.

FARAG FATAHE, 42, of Padwell Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. Driving record endorsed with six points. Fined £300. Ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

GEORGE IONUT CIOROIU, 25, of Devonshire Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Driving record endorsed with three points. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge.

JOSEPH MURPHY, 40, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating. Fined £500. Ordered to pay £500 compensation and £85 court costs.
