I would like to say a great big thank you to Paul McKay, who lives in Colne Ave.
Paul organised a Santa run in his fire engine, across parts of Millbrook and Redbridge on December 23.
His fire engine was decked in lights and had Santa riding on his sleigh at the back of the fire engine.
It was wonderful, the People of Millbrook and Redbridge turned out in their hundreds and supported the Fire Brigade Charities.
The Millbrook & Redbridge community always seem to get negative press, however last Wednesday, they were wonderful and should give themselves and Paul McKay a great big pat on the back.
Well done Redbridge and Millbrook, you should be so proud of yourselves. In these recent days of doom and gloom, now moving into Tier 4 as of Boxing day, this event tonight was a boost we all needed.
Well done Millbrook & Redbridge.
