Are you looking to make a difference to a young person’s life this year? Or are you looking you learn new skills while giving back to the community? You could have a big impact on the lives of young people in Hampshire by becoming a foster carer and providing a young person with a safe, secure environment.

Almost anyone from all walks of life can foster, whether you practice a religion, have or haven’t got children, are married, single or in a same-sex relationship. It does not even matter if you have pets at home or think you are too old… you are needed!

All that is asked is that you have a spare bedroom and can drive or have access to a vehicle.

Daily Echo:

Blue Sky Fostering, a local, friendly and professional fostering agency run by an active social worker, are recruiting foster carers in your area to support local vulnerable young people.

Blue Sky Fostering have been Ofsted rated Outstanding on four consecutive occasions and offer full training, so you do not need to come from a background of working with children and you will be supported right from the start.

You will receive a competitive ‘fostering allowance’ which covers the professional fee to you as a foster carer as well as covering the cost for caring for the child. You will also receive 24/7 support from them and assigned your own social worker.

Being a foster carer means that you will be able to have a fulfilling career as a highly trained carer while making a difference to the lives of vulnerable children. You will become a member of a wider team working towards the health, happiness and stability of young people and be valued and recognised for the contribution you make to supporting children.
