A SOUTHAMPTON MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Sol Hemy whose body was found in the water at Riverside Park on September 5 last year.
Police had been called following reports of gunshots in River Walk where officers found a home used to grow cannabis had been broken into.
Police investigating Sol’s death arrested a 30-year-old man from Southampton on suspicion of murder and questioned him in custody.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of another person’s identity document and obtaining/acquiring/using criminal property.
He has been released on bail until January 24, 2021, to allow for further enquiries.
The investigation is ongoing.
