A MAN has been spared a driving ban because of the impact on his children, parents and business partner.
Kiran Lewis Swain, 28, was caught speeding in a 58-reg Vauxhall on the M27 on June 14, a court heard. He was recorded driving at 63mph in the temporary 50-zone between junctions 5-4 near Eastleigh.
He was found guilty under the single justice procedure at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
The court heard that a totting disqualification would cause suffering to his children because he will be unable to maintain contact, and also affect his parents and business partner.
Swain, of Emer Close, North Baddesley, near Romsey, was find £45 with a £34 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Three penalty points were added to his licence.
