A SOUTHAMPTON woman has been banned from the roads for drink driving.
Julie Shannon was caught behind the wheel of a SEAT Leon more than twice the drink-drive limit.
She had 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when she was stopped in Portswood Road on July 22 this year.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Shannon, 24, of Winchester Road, was found guilty of the offence at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
She has been disqualified for 16 months and fined £250.
She must also pay £610 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
