UPDATE DECEMBER 31: She has now been found
POLICE have appealed for the public's help to find a 14-year-old girl from New Milton who has gone missing.
Shannon was last seen at around 3pm on Wednesday, December 30, when she left her home address in New Milton.
Her family are concerned for her welfare.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary have been making enquiries since yesterday and they have now issued a public appeal.
Shannon is described as being white with a tanned complexion, 5ft 8ins tall with a slim build, she has long dark brown hair.
She was last seen wearing grey a long navy coat with a furry hood, black leggings, and was carrying a beige handbag.
A force spokesperson said they appreciate the image of the teenager isn’t clear.
Anyone who sees Shannon, or thinks they may have seen her since yesterday is asked to call Hampshire Constabulary on 101, quoting 44200500089.
