WELSH police officers have taken to social media to blast tourists - including some from Southampton - for breaching Covid rules and travelling to Snowdonia.
The force said that those from travelled from the city, which is 200 miles from the Welsh peak, were 'selfish'.
Southampton and Hampshire are currently in Tier 4, which prohibits anyone from entering or leaving the area. Wales is also under strict local rules, effectively amounting to a national lockdown.
They, along with others from Kent and Sollihull, were reported for their breaches.
The post read: "Patrols continue across north Wales and we are also working working closely with our Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri - Snowdonia National Park colleagues.
"Several have been reported for #COVID19 breaches already today - with some travelling here from as far as Southampton, Kent and Sollihull.
"Please do not travel for exercise.
"Think of your actions - if you get into difficulties you are risking our Mountain Rescue volunteers and emergency services with your unnecessary and selfish behaviour.
"We all need to work together and it's up to all of us to do the right thing."
