AN UNINSURED driver caught behind the wheel while under the influence of drugs has been banned from the roads.
Aimee Louise Victoria New was caught drug driving on April 8 last year on Barnsland in West End.
The 34-year-old was found to have Benzoylecgonine - a breakdown product of cocaine - in her blood, and was also found to have no insurance.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates Court, she pleaded guilty to one count of drug driving and one count of driving without insurance.
New, of Ellwood Avenue, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 18 months and handed a community order.
She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.
