A HUNT has been launched after a hit and run on a busy Southampton road.
Police were called to Burgess Road at 8.02am today following reports of a collision between a motorbike and a car.
The car did not stop at the scene and the rider was taken to hospital with injuries to his wrist.

The car has been described as dark in colour.
Now, police are appealing to the public to help locate the driver.
Officers investigating the incident are urging motorists in the area to check dashcam or helmet cam footage from the area this morning.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: "We can confirm we were called at 8.02am this morning to a report of a collision between a car and a motorbike in Burgess Road, Southampton.
"The vehicle involved, described as a dark coloured car, did not stop at the scene. The rider has been taken to hospital with an injury to his wrist.
