A MAN has been charged with gross negligence manslaughter following the death of a Southampton man at a building site.
Kulwant Singh Athwal, 64 was found dead at a construction site in Ling Dale, Bassett.
Police were called to a residential address at around 9.30am on July 16, 2019.
An investigation into Kulwant’s death was launched alongside the Health and Safety Executive.
Police have now revealed that Paramjit Singh of Iris Road, Southampton has been charged with gross negligence manslaughter.
The 48-year-old is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on January 12, 2021.
