New Forest District Council is no longer studying the application
PLANS to build a new extension to a house in the New Forest have been withdrawn by the applicant.
New Forest District Council (NFDC) is no longer studying an application relating to a property at Harbridge Green, Harbridge.
The local parish council had urged NFDC to reject the application.
In a letter to the authority it said: “The substantial extension proposed would be even less in keeping with the property than the extension it would replace.”
The council also said the size and position of the extension meant it would “significantly overwhelm” the thatched part of the property.
