A MEETING is set to take place to discuss plans to demolish buildings to make room for a new development.
Plans to demolish a range of buildings including farm buildings, garages and cottages will be discussed at a meeting of the Horton Heath Development Management Committee at 7pm today.
As previously reported, 1,400 new homes, community buildings, schools, footpaths, cycleways and new access roads are set to be built in Horton Heath.
If the application by Eastleigh Borough Council is approved, then buildings at Chalcroft Farm on Burnetts Lane, and Fir Tree Farm on Fir Tree Lane could be demolished.
The committee has been recommended to grant permission.
