ROMSEY Town FC are playing their part in the vaccination rollout by providing free parking to NHS staff and volunteers administering the Covid jab.

The football club received a request for help from GP practices in Romsey and North Baddesley back in December.

Test Valley Borough Council arranged for 27 free parking spaces at Crosfield Hall for patients, and Romsey Town FC agreed to give all staff and volunteers 15 free parking spaces at the club for the duration of the clinics.

Club Secretary Alastair Bark said: “We are grateful of the support shown to the club this season by many local businesses and residents. This was a perfect opportunity to give something back and support the community.”
