A FURTHER 22 new coronavirus deaths have been recorded across Hampshire in the last 24 hours.
Figures published by NHS England at 2pm today (January 9) have revealed that a further 22 coronavirus patients have died in 24 hours.
This brings the county's overall total up to 1,049 deaths since the start of the pandemic in March.
Nine deaths were recorded at at University Hospital Southampton in 24 hours, bringing the Trust's total up to 273.
A further nine deaths were recorded at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust in the last 24 hours, bringing the Trust's total up to 482.
At Hampshire Hospitals Trust, four deaths were recorded in 24 hours, bringing the total number up to 264 deaths.
No other deaths were recorded at any of the county's other Trusts.
Southern Health Trust remains at 26 deaths, with the figure for the Solent NHS Trust also staying at four.
