A PROPOSAL to build a four bedroom house has been recommended for refusal.

The application sets out plans to build the house along Hursley Road, Chandler's Ford, on the site of a previously demolished bungalow.

The applicant has already been granted planning permission to build a house on the site, but has since increased the scale of the plans, adding in an additional storey at the rear of the site.

The newest set of plans are recommended for refusal according to the agenda for the meeting on the grounds that it is not adequately protected from flooding and fails to provide adequate provision for onsite car parking.

It due to be discussed at a meeting of the Chandler's Ford and Hiltingbury Local Area Committee at 7pm next Wednesday.
