A FURTHER 11 new coronavirus deaths have been recorded across Hampshire in the last 24 hours. 

Figures published by NHS England at 2pm today (January 10) have revealed that a further 11 coronavirus patients have died in 24 hours.

This brings the county's overall total up to 1,060 deaths since the start of the pandemic in March.

A further ten deaths were recorded at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust in the last 24 hours, bringing the Trust's total up to 492.

At Hampshire Hospitals Trust, one more death was recorded in 24 hours, bringing the total number up to 265 deaths.

No other deaths were recorded at any of the county's other Trusts.

At University Hospital Southampton, there has been 273 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Southern Health Trust remains at 26 deaths, with the figure for the Solent NHS Trust also staying at four.
