Can you give these pets a home?

These pets are currently residents at the Blue Cross rehoming centre in West End near Southampton.

Dusty is a two-year-old black and white cat. She is on the lookout for a very special home. She came to the centre a while ago, and has spent many months in her foster home building a trusting relationship with her foster carer. She is a cautious lady who is very worried by humans initially.

It has taken a lot of patience, but she is now comfortable around her foster carer and has even started exploring more of the house. She still does not like being touched, so her new owners will need to be patient with her and accepting of this. In her new home, she will need a quiet room to call her own where she can settle and start to build a relationship with her new owners. She is looking for a very quiet home without too many comings and goings.

Jessie is a black and white cat who is 10-years-old. She is an incredibly playful lady who can’t resist chasing a toy around. She really doesn’t let her age hold her back when it comes to playing, she could almost be mistaken for a kitten. Jessie has a lot of character but can get easily overwhelmed if there’s too much going on around her.

It takes her a while to trust people, so she’d prefer to find new owners who will be a little hands off with her initially. She’s looking for her home without too much going on. She is looking for a home without children or other pets as these are all a bit too scary for her.
