MORE than 1,600 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 6.10pm today (January 11) - show that 1,624 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Across Hampshire, there has been a total of 60,319 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - approximately 4.38 per cent of the county's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority on January 11:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 79 (5,229 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 57 (3,344)
- Eastleigh: 152 (3,590)
- Fareham: 96 (3,376)
- Gosport: 51 (2,355)
- Hart: 79 (3,019)
- Havant: 153 (4,972)
- New Forest: 107 (3,895)
- Portsmouth: 243 (9,530)
- Rushmoor: 151 (5,268)
- Southampton: 300 (8,961)
- Test Valley: 91 (3,278)
- Winchester: 65 (3,502)
