Queues remain after police release traffic following motorway closure
HEAVY delays still remain on a major Hampshire motorway after both carriageways were closed due to an incident.
Police closed off the M27 between Junctions 8 for Bursledon and 9 for Park Gate after the incident on the Eastbound side of the road.
It occurred just after 6pm, with traffic being released at 7pm.
Details have not been released about the incident.
Currently, queues are spanning "a few miles" in both directions.
