EMERGENCY services rushed to a two vehicle crash on a town road last night.
A car and a van were involved in the incident that took place yesterday evening on Allbrook Way, Eastleigh.
A black Mazda allegedly pulled out of a layby to join the carriageway and collided with a blue VW van.
The crash caused both vehicles to cross the northbound carriageway onto a grass verge.
Police were called to the incident at 4:37pm yesterday.
In a tweet, police alleged that the driver of the car was travelling to collect non-essential items.
The driver of the van was said to be travelling for work.
One person received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
