UPDATE: The incident has now been cleared and the road has been reopened.
A ROAD has been blocked due to road works and a jack-knifed lorry.
There are currently 30 minute delays on the Northbound A36 near Ower Roundabout.
There are also 20 minute delays heading Southbound due to emergency roadworks.
Police are on the scene trying to recover a lorry that has jack-knifed on Ower Roundabout.
A police spokesperson said: "Please use an alternative route if using the #A36 this morning - Traffic is already heavy in the area."
