MY LATE father was a truck driver for a company called Smith of Maddiston who are now dissolved.
He was based in the north east at Stockton on Tees.
Smiths had a depot at Nutsey Lane, in Totton, Southampton.
I am appealing for information about this company to assist my research, in particular photographs of vehicles that your readers are willing to share with me.
I enclose a St Albans based vehicle to try and jog memories.
