A DRINK driver who failed to stop for police has been banned from the roads for 12 months.
Gary Rowe was caught behind the wheel of a white BMW 118 in Sharlands Road, Fareham.
The 26-year-old who was uninsured at the time had also failed to stop for a police constable during the incident on September 4 last year.
He was found to have 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He previously pleaded guilty to the three driving offences.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Monday, Rowe of Tichborne Way, Gosport was fined £400.
Rowe must also pay £85 in court costs and a £43 victim surcharge.
