A MAN has been banned from the roads after being caught drink driving.
Joseph Matthew Thomas Davies was stopped driving a Ford Fiesta on Warsash Road in Fareham.
The 29-year-old of Glendale in Locks Heath was found to have 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on August 29 last year.
Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Monday he was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £375.
Davies must pay a £38 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs.
