A MAN has been charged following the stabbing to death of a Hampshire man.
Lewis Green, 23, of Tewkesbury Close, Portsmouth, has been charged with murder.
It comes following the death of 26-year-old Billy Green outside Pickwick House, Wingfield Street on Monday.
Billy was prounced dead at the scene having been stabbed, police say.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Paying tribute, his family said: "Our first-born son, heartbroken parents, taken way too young, he had his whole life to live.
“Billy will always be in our hearts and memories. A cheeky chappy with an infectious laugh. Loved forever by mum, dad and family.”
Lewis Green is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court this morning.
