Almost 1,600 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in a 24-hour period.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 5pm yesterday (January 15) - show that 1,590 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Across Hampshire, there has been a total of 66,120 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority on January 15:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 201 (5,785 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 93 (3,624)
- Eastleigh: 112 (3,963)
- Fareham: 78 (3,712)
- Gosport: 59 (2,581)
- Hart: 64 (3,277)
- Havant: 104 (5,402)
- New Forest: 129 (4,327)
- Portsmouth: 234 (10,471)
- Rushmoor: 136 (5,778)
- Southampton: 222 (9,842)
- Test Valley: 74 (3,585)
- Winchester: 84 (3,773)
