THROUGH inquiring I have found that the reason for this area’s shortage of vaccines is because of lack of supply, hints that the containers are short.
Other areas in Sussex for instance, have had a generous supply, so why is Southampton suffering?
Obviously the allocation system needs reviewing.
One Southampton surgery has nearly 700 patients over 80 years old.
They, according to their website have received their first allocation of 140.
The television I am watching states eighty per cent of over eighties have had their first jab.
So what chance have the younger people got?
As a person in the wrong bracket and not – at time of writing heard from my surgery – like many others are worrying.
We keep mainly isolated to save the NHS.
Stay Alert.
