'Long delays on approach': Crash blocks all lanes of motorway
A CRASH on a Hampshire motorway has closed two lanes causing damage to the barriers.
Two lanes heading southbound on the M3 have been blocked by a crash this afternoon.
Previously, all lanes were closed but one lane has since been opened.
The accident happened between junction 8 near Popham and junction 9 near Winnall.
Police were called to the scene at 2.39pm following reports of a crash involving two vehicles.
No one was injured but the road still remains blocked as workers carry out barrier repairs.
News on the repairs was first reported at 6.07pm this evening, stating that two lane still remain closed.
Officials have warned that heavy delays are building on approach.
