A SPEEDING driver broke the limit twice in two days, a court heard.
But she was spared a ban because of mitigating personal circumstances.
There was no totting disqualification, magistrates in Basingstoke ruled, after hearing Nicola Darby would lose her job, be unable to support her daughter in her apprenticeship or care for her elderly mother.
Darby, 40, of Hiltingbury Road, Chandler's Ford, was clocked driving a 17-reg VW at 35mph on St Mary's Place/Kingsway in Southampton where the limit is 30mph on June 29 and June 30 last year.
She was in court to admit guilt under the single justice procedure.
Darby was fined £326, with a £68 victim surcharge plus £119 costs. Six penalty points were added to her licence.
