POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a Land Rover rammed another vehicle off the road before the occupants were assaulted and robbed.
It has been reported that a 'dark' Land Rover drove into a silver Toyota on Olive Road on Monday, January 18, causing it to collide with a post in a field.
The thugs occupying the Land Rover then assaulted the victims in the Toyota and caused more damage to their vehicle.
During the incident, a number of items were robbed before the suspects fled the scene.
The incident is reported to have happened between 6.05pm and 6.10pm.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: "We’ve conducted a number of initial enquiries but are now turning to the public for help.
"Were you in the area at the time? Did you see what happened? Perhaps you have dash cam footage around the time of the event or have seen a damaged Land Rover in the local area?
"Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call 101, quoting 44210020439.
"Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
