A DRINK driver has been banned from the roads for a year.
Richard Johns was caught behind the wheel of a silver Honda Civic on the A334 near Shedfield.
A roadside test found that he had 109 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood - the legal limit is 80 milligrammes.
The 48-year-old pleaded guilty to the drink driving offence which happened on December 18, 2019.
Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates' Court last Friday where he was given a 12 month driving ban and fined £120.
Johns, of Silver Birch Way in Whiteley must pay a £32 victim surcharge and £250 court costs.
