MORE than 800 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in the past 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.03pm today (January 28) - show that 805 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Yesterday, there were 741 new cases recorded across Hampshire.
Across the county, there has been a total of 77,698 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

- Basingstoke and Deane: 66 (7,001 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 55 (4,180)
- Eastleigh: 43 (4,645)
- Fareham: 58 (4,333)
- Gosport: 44 (3,123)
- Hart: 26 (3,765)
- Havant: 35 (6,136)
- New Forest: 64 (5,176)
- Portsmouth: 132 (12,183)
- Rushmoor: 65 (6,882)
- Southampton: 133 (11,682)
- Test Valley: 57 (4,333)
- Winchester: 27 (4,259)
