A MAN has been attacked during a fight involving a gang of teenagers "out in mass".
A fight broke out in Verdon Avenue in Hamble at around 6.15pm last night.
One male is said to have been beaten by two of the teens and thrown into a nearby car and van, according to police.
The incident reportedly caused significant damage to the vehicles.
A statement on the Hedge End Police Facebook page said: "Frustratingly the groups' actions have ended up causing significant damage to a residents prized and cherished car and their work van.
"The cost of repairing the car will far out way its value. Understandably the owner is livid and I would be feeling exactly the same if this happened to my car.
"We are determined to find out who was involved in this incident and are encouraging any witnesses to come forward with any information which will assist this investigation.
"Thanks to the wonders of technology we have clear CCTV of the incident, identifying a number of leads. These will be followed up."
