Ships in Southampton docks submitted by Bob Dudley
WITH time on my hands due to lockdown I have been sorting out some old photos and came across a photo of Southampton docks.
On the back is a list of the ships in dock.
Homeric (dry dock) Mauretania (four funnels) Olympic (just behind) Berengaria (astern) Empress of Britain (above three funnels) Alcantara (ahead of Empress of Britain).
However there is no date given.
Has anybody got an idea in what year the photo was taken?
