A HOME care provider offering support to vulnerable people and providing new jobs for carers has opened an Eastleigh branch.

In Home Care’s new office will provide personal care support for vulnerable individuals in Eastleigh, Chandler’s Ford, Hedge End, and nearby communities.

Home care company, In Home Care, has formally opened its new branch on Eastleigh High Street, providing hourly, overnight, and live-in care services for individuals with mental, physical, and learning difficulties.

These services also include tailored dementia care and companionship, as well as elderly care.

Jane Parker, registered manager at In Home Care Eastleigh, said: “I am proud to officially open In Home Care’s Eastleigh branch and support our community.

"Our branch is right in the heart of the town close to Eastleigh Museum and our carers are on hand to help in the surrounding areas.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has shown just how vital home care is for people requiring a little extra support and provides reassurance to their family members and friends who may not be able to visit during lockdown.

"Our carers can carry out tasks such as managing personal care and assisting with medication, through to companionship and even taking care of the home or pets.”

The Eastleigh branch also has job openings for new carers, all of whom undergo an extensive, accredited training programme, conducted in line with current Covid-19 regulations, with further opportunities to advance into more specialist areas.

Applicants with little or no previous experience in care are also welcome.

Founder Claire Simmons said: “Seeing the doors open at our Eastleigh branch is a hugely proud moment for everyone at In Home Care.

"Jane is building a great team already, and I have no doubt that they will all be great ambassadors for the In Home Care family.”
