A MAN who was caught more than three and a half times the drink drive limit has been banned from the roads.

Waldemar Manelski was caught drink driving in an Audi on Kendal Avenue in Southampton on December 6 last year.

The 42-year-old was found to have 134 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drink driving.

Manelski, of Wimpson Lane, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 30 months and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
