A GROUP of motorcyclists out for a Sunday ride in Hampshire have been stopped by police and issued with fines for breaching Covid restrictions.
Hampshire Police say the bikers had travelled from London and were stopped near Petersfield on the A272, a popular route for motorcyclists.
The riders were stopped by members of the Hampshire Police Road Policing Unit, who revealed the fines on Twitter.
The unit tweeted: "Group of bikers from #london stopped on #a272 near petersfield.
"No reasons for being 60 miles from home, so they have been issued FPN's for #Covidbreach"
