THREE people suspected to be on their way to an 'illegal rave' in breach of covid rules have been stopped by police.
The trio who "could barely stand up" were stopped in Southampton last night.
According to police, they struggled to understand that travelling from Bournemouth to meet up with friends for a party was a blatant breach of covid regulations.
Officers have reported receiving numerous calls every day for coronavirus breaches.
These include reports of parties in people’s homes, children playing football, and even a suspected illegal “rave”.
Other examples include driving to Weston Shore to meet up with a friend and sitting in a car together and, meeting up with another household for a picnic.
The Daily Echo has contacted Hampshire Police for more information.
