FIVE people have been slapped with fines for breaching coronavirus restrictions in Test Valley.
In a Facebook post, Test Valley Cops said they stopped motorists in West Tytherley and Timsbury for breaking Covid rules last night (February 21).
The force was patrolling the borough in a bid to tackle rural theft and burglaries.
However, officers did stress "overwhelmingly people were keeping to the rules", and thanked the public for their compliance.
The post adds: "Thank you to those people and to everyone else who we didn't speak to because they were at home."
