A MAN and a teenager have been arrested after a home was damaged when a pair of trainers were set alight.
At around 4.10pm on Sunday, a pair of trainers were set on fire outside a property in Sand Martin Close, Eastleigh.
This resulted in fire damage being caused to the front door.
Police have now arrested two people on suspicion of arson.
A 59-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Eastleigh were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
They both remain in custody.
