Cycle lane on Bassett Avenue, Southampton
So Southampton City Council intend to raise the council tax, they obviously need the money for staff wage increases.
Perhaps my 20p national pension increase will cover it, if not I go cap in hand to my wife for her 18p.
A lot of thought goes into my mind when I watch the cycle lanes being pulled up, which cost so much to install.
Still at my great age they won’t be getting it for much longer, something to look forward to.
