MORE than 160 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire over the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website - show that, as of 4pm today, 161 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
This brings the county's total to 87,757 cases since the start of the pandemic - around 6.37 per cent of Hampshire's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority in the 24 hours up to February 26:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 15 (7,814 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 4 (4,685)
- Eastleigh: 9 (5,437)
- Fareham: 14 (4,997)
- Gosport: 5 (3,685)
- Hart: 5 (4,136)
- Havant: 13 (6,778)
- New Forest: 13 (5,881)
- Portsmouth: 24 (13,687)
- Rushmoor: 7 (7,552)
- Southampton: 36 (13,297)
- Test Valley: 10 (5,090)
- Winchester: 6 (4,718)
