VIOLENT thugs, burglars, and sex offenders passed through the courts of Southampton in February.

Southampton man jailed for 'predatory' rapes after attacking woman in his van
Shafiullah Zahid approached the woman who was alone after a night out.
The 33-year-old of Sirdar Road offered her a lift home only to rape her.
He was jailed for seven and a half years.
Teen bit, kicked and spat at police officers while celebrating her 18th birthday
Amelia Ruth Hardwick attacked police officers after becoming "heavily intoxicated" during a night out.
She bit, spat at and kicked officers while being arrested.
She was sentenced to six months in a youth detention centre, suspended for 18 months
Thug knocked one man unconscious during attack on two brothers
Jack Burgess attacked two brothers who had been enjoying a night out drinking in Southampton.
The 28-year-old left one of them with a large crack in one of his front teeth.
He was jailed for ten months, suspended for two years.
Southampton man spent two days in prison after driving to Wales for selfie
Jason Kenneth Evans wanted to take a selfie with his girlfriend on Mount Snowdon during lockdown.
However, after spending two days in police cells he was “kicked out of Wales”.
The 26-year-old had been pulled over after being spotted driving erratically.

Harley Haynes was chased by police in New Milton on multiple occasions.
Officers searched his room five times.
They found cannabis, scales and deal bags stamped with his initials

Shannah Cave ploughed her car into her mother's garden during a dangerous driving "rampage"
The 27-year-old almost hit a police officer with her Vauxhall Corsa.
She was "verbally abusive" during arrest.
Shopkeeper groped woman and teenage girl in separate incidents on the same day
Michael Tut sexually assaulted a teenage girl’s within hours of groping another woman.
The 56-year-old is said to have used his position to become friendly with young teenage girls and would allow them to buy tobacco and offer them free alcohol.
Burglar raided home of 90-year-old man who died weeks later of Covid-19
Stuart Hitchiner smashed through his elderly victim's kitchen window.
He stole an Ipad, phone, passport and alcohol.
He was tracked down by police having left blood at the scene of his crime.
Woman pushed 83-year-old victim to floor and robbed her in her own home
Ruby Ventham pushed her victim to the ground after grabbing her handbag.
The 27-year-old made off with store cards, debit cards and approximately £80 in cash.
She was jailed for four years.
Knife-brandishing man chased victim across garage forecourt
Reece Binks chased a man through traffic while brandishing a knife.
His victim feared for his life when he slipped on a grass verge.
The 24-year-old failed to attend court on multiple occasions and was sentenced in absence.
Man pulled over during random stop had 250 grams of cocaine
Oliver James Morgan was pulled over driving his aunt's Mercedes.
He gave a positive drugs test.
A search of the vehicle revealed a stash of drugs.
He was jailed for 30 months.
Man left woman with fractured ribs after giving her 'good punching' as she slept
Laviniu Gal punched and kicked his victim leaving her with bruising all over her body.
She eventually tried to flee the country.
Gal was jailed for 14-months.
