Assault, drink driving and indecent exposure: The cases heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court

GLENN MERRITT, 57, of Warburton Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order made. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

LLOYD MIDDLEHURST, 36, of Bryanston Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to intentionally and without lawful authority caused a car to be on a road in such circumstances that it would have been obvious to a reasonable person that to do so would be dangerous. Community order made. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CHRISTOPHER WILLIAM STEDMAN, 40, of Manley Road, Bursledon. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order made and fined £100 compensation. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £400 court costs.

JOSE ANDREDE, 46, of Statham Square, Andover. Pleaded guilty to drink driver. Disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £360. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £85.

THOMAS CHRISTOPHER CURRAN, 28, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to five counts of theft. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £260.25 compensation.

COLIN TONY LEWIS, 32, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to the possession of cannabis. Fined £40 and cannabis seized. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £40.

JAMES PAUL COOPER, 49, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to committing a public nuisance by indecently exposing himself to a member of the public. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay victim surcharged of £22 and court costs of £40.

WILLIAM DAVID HUNTER, 18, of Pitmore Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to the possession of cannabis. Fined £266 and cannabis seized. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

MICHAEL FOULDS, 52, of Upper Northam Road, Hedge End. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a blood samle to police when suspected of having committed a driving offence. Disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £400. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85.

NORBERT DENICEWICZ, 45, of Selby Place, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. Disqualified from driving for 17 months and fined £750. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £75 and court costs of £85.

RYAN MOODY, 27, of Bodycoats Road, Chandler's Ford. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £350. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85.
